AHHHH Dogs Everywhere!

Every day is sooo much fun at the RUFF House. You never quite know what your going to get. Each dog has such a different personality and they all add so much adventure to each day.

This week we had a fun little crew. All the dogs had so much energy, and they all needed a little Tarah time, which I always love to give.

Blue, the Aussie Mix was our little mother of the pack. She lives up to her role watching the dogs and making sure they behave. Her pup, Oscar, and her came to stay for the weekend. RUFF House lit up with their friendly spirits! Look at her cool eyes!

Hey there Mr. Buster boy, you sure are looking pretty today! Opps, I didn't realize I got Blue pooping in the background....sorry Blue.
The other dogs didn't like Buster getting all the attention. They quickly began to gather around. "AHHHH careful guys I only have two arms."
OK OK, I'll give you all kisses, but then you have to get off me.

Blue, being the mother and all wasn't amused by their childish behavior, the look in her eye seems to say, "If only they understood how silly they look begging for your attention, all they have to do is look cute like I am doing here and they'll get it much easier."

Blue, sure is a good mom looking after her little Oscar guy. His name is Oscar because he was conceived the night of the oscars.....so creative!

Blue, thanks for looking after everyone your a good girl. "What you talking to me? Let me turn my head so I can hear you better...Oh, yea I agree I am a really good girl."

"What about me, What about me....I may be small but don't forget to tell me I'm a good boy too."

Sorry Dusty, you are a very good boy. You like to sleep a lot and you play with your raggedy old toys which is definitely darling.

Blitz, was another one of our bundles of energy I was shocked when I got him to slow down and even sit long enough to snap this shot......I may have cheated a little though, I might have a delicious treat in my hand....oh so tempting.

Tug-O-War.....the best game ever! The puppies sure do love a good threesome. That did use to be a soft squishy ball. Thank you Kung Fu, Deuce, & Mattie Mae for destroying our toys.

Sekoya, such a good girl waiting for a little game of catch......hey Sekoya, catch the ball!

Oh yea! Good girl. Now show Deuce how to catch!

All right Deuce, your turn ready.....one.....two....three.....Catch!

Shoot, maybe next time......OH, that hit him in the head for sure!

"Hey I want to try, let me try, I bet I can catch it come on, come on......

Training in action!

Look at Ruger's pearly whites, now thats a dog with clean teeth........wonder what he brushes with?............raw bones? What a happy dog:)

SHHHH! let little Koa sleep, she needs her beauty rest so she can grow big and strong. Then, she can keep up with the big boys.

We use Sekoya to teach the dogs some good behavior skills, she is still really young but she tends to be pretty mellow.......

Lucy watch Sekoya!

Mack watch Sekoya......

Sekoya sit!

Mack sit!

GOOD DOGS!

Sekoya sit!

Lucy sit, or lay down!

GOOD GIRLS!!

Buster sit!

yea right......

that boy can go & go & go & go, if he did sit he'd move so fast I probably couldn't catch a picture so there would be no proof, however he is really cute when he tap dances while waiting for a good game of fetch!

Mr. Dusty doesn't much like to play fetch....or sitting for that matter! He sure does love to have a good petting session & he has a favorite stuffed animal he sure will snuggle up to.

"What you talking bout' me?"

Dulce just got a nice little trim job at our salon, he sure does look stunning...better watch out ladies this little tiger is a sweetie!

Gus just loves to gnaw on our delicious nylabones. We have these scattered around to help keep those chewers from chewing on non chewable things.....such as our limbs.

Luke is such a curious little puppy. He loves to investigate every dog and make sure that they are play material. Here he is on one of his routes.

Coda is a relative of "Gizmo" he is the sweeter half......of course........ but looks a perfect mix of both the "Gremlin & Gizmo". He is a little shocked that I would snap such a photo after implying this.

These are two of our grooming clients. Tito and Toby. They just got pampered in our puppy spa. A good grooming, sleek cut, lots of love, and treats......who could ask for more? I want to go!

Tundra!

So we have great news on Tundra! She has found a great home with a wonderful family. They have several children in their home and Tundra has taken very well to them. Maren Partridge, who is a volunteer for homeless pets, has done several house visits to check up on Tundra and her well being with her new home, she has reported that Tundra is very happy and well!

We wanted to thank anyone who was involved with this. We really appreciate the efforts in giving these wonderful animals a good life. For any of you who are trying to help homeless pets find a safe and secure home, please let us know how we can help. RUFF House would love to participate in making the transition as pleasant as possible for these animals. Thanks again we are soooo happy to hear that Tundra found a great home.
